'We Love You thats the message that performance artists from the Revolutionary Arts Groop will be sending out this weekend.

In a series of what artist Dan Thompson describes as tricks, pranks and interventions in everyday life, the group will be looking at whats so funny about peace, love and understanding. While some events will be very public, others will happen more quietly around the town.

Al Qaeda and what it means to be modern

We are told that radical Islam is the most dynamic political movement since the fall of Communism. If that is true then much of the discussion about this phenomenon is about as intelligent as people seeing the Berlin Wall coming down in 1990 and complaining about the noise.

Any critique of radical Islam is seen as crusading from the Muslims and racism from the liberal intelligensia. Professor John Gray's book: 'Al Qaeda and what it means to be modern' is a refreshhing approach to the situation which I hope will be read widely by all sides of the argument.

This biannual event has carved a name for itself over the past two years as the place to go for antiques of the future.

MIDCENTURY.MODERNs mix of mid-century pieces from the greats - The Eames, The Days, Panton, Wegner, Wirkkala, Franck,  Jacobsen with the latest movers and shakers in modern design attracts architects, interior designers, dealers, property developers, collectors and the modern-minded public from all over the UK. Here you can source antiques of the future without the huge retail mark-up in a light and bright 60s setting. Find everything for your home from an original Eames rocker to the hottest modern glassmakers.

Try out pieces sold by some of Britains top mid-century dealers in Scandinavian, European and American mid-century furniture and decorative arts. Head downstairs for Fifties, Sixties and Seventies collectables from the likes of Hans Wegner, Pierre Paulin, Arne Jacobsen, Robin Day and Panton; upstairs for the coolest wares from top young British designers. Prices range from 10 - 10,000.
