Description: Sussex-based theatre company thinktanktheatre will perform Ashes to Ashes by Harold Pinter in February 2007 in a brand new theatre space created by the company specifically for the performances. The new theatre is The Methvens Studio on the first floor of Methvens Bookshop in South Street, Worthing in West Sussex.

thinktanktheatres production of Harold Pinters one-act masterpiece Ashes to Ashes is the long-awaited follow-up to the companys highly acclaimed debut performances of The Lover, also by Pinter, in The Mill Studio at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford and The Priory Playhouse, Arundel.

Kiss my fist. Rebecca, Ashes to Ashes

A man questions a woman in a psychological game of cat and mouse where brutality, domination and power interweave with anxiety, insecurity and reckless curiosity.

A twisted and perverted love-story that explores the link between sexual Fascism and its political counterpart.

Does drama get any stranger than this?

The production is directed by Katherine Mustafa and the cast are Jane Huxley and Saul Ware. There will be a post-performance discussion with the director and cast following each evenings performance.

Performances of Ashes to Ashes are on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd February 2007 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced 5.00, including post-performance discussion with the director and cast, and are available by calling the box office on 01903 267729 or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Tickets are also available in person at Methvens Bookshop in Worthing.
