There will soon be hundreds of original paintings for sale at the Downland Art Society�s two week Spring Exhibition in Arundel.
The Society, which has over a hundred member artists, was formed way back in 1944 and holds two exhibitions a year at the St Nicholas Hall. Entrance is free as is some of the easy parking next to the hall opposite the lower castle gate.
The artists are expecting the exhibition to be just as popular and successful as last Spring�s, when appreciative buyers purchased 92 paintings. So if you are interested in original art at realistic prices, make a note to get there early!
If you are an artists looking for opportunities to exhibit and sell your work then why not join the Society? There are monthly meetings with demonstrations by professionals and also workshops in addition to the exhibitions mentioned.
