Poets from RAG's Roundabout will celebrate National Poetry Day with an evening at a boutique b&b. The nationwide celebration has taken 'Food' as its theme this year, so expect some tasty poetry.
Steve Carroll (pictured), known as RAG's loudest poet, will perform a set for original material.
Dan Thompson will perform his own material, alongside a few favourites by authors like Benjamin Zephaniah, Roger McGough and John Hegley. Dan will have been performing in a range of local venues throughout the day.
Special guest Russ Bravo, best known as editor of a national newspaper, will also appear. Further guests are yet to be confirmed.
RAG's Roundabout - Just The Words - takes place at The Acacia, Warwick Gardens, Worthing from 8 - 10pm on Thursday 7th October. Admission is free.
Both Steve Carroll and Dan Thompson appear in the 'Ragged Edges' anthology, available from selected bookshops price �3.99.
