The Sussex Guild will be staging a two day exhibition of contemporary crafts on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September at Pashley Manor Gardens. Visitors will be able to enter the Sussex Guild marquee and see around 40 Guild members displaying work of the highest standard, with a number of new members showing for the first time. All this will be complimented by the glorious setting of Pashley Manor Gardens with their lakes, sculptures and vibrant coloured planting which many consider being at its very best in late summer.
Works on show and for sale will include Saskia Shutt�s contrasting textured jewellery, rich copper red & colbalt blue shimmering pots by Robert Goldsmith, illustrator Sue Scullard�s detailed black & white prints, contemporary metal furniture & ornate garden metal structures by John Pomfrey and Louise Creasey�s highly individual & intricately embellished flower bags. Other delights will include stained & hand blown glass, smoked fired pots, porcelain & lusterware, fine wood furniture, felt accessories & enriched wall hangings, linocuts, silver, gold & gemstone jewellery, contemporary metalwork and woodturning. These works are ideal as gifts, as decorative and/or practical accessories for the home, or as investments in contemporary crafts.
