Nathan Bean

Nathan rose to prominence when his work was banned by Worthing Museum & Art Gallery.

He has recently shot a series of films using animal hearts. The films, including a magpie pecking a heart, a heart in a kitchen blender and a woman grating one, have been shown in Worthing, Brighton and London galleries.

As well as film, video and resulting prints, Nathan works sometimes as a painter producing abstract, textured paintings incorporating chemical reactions.
