The team behind Brighton Art Fair is pleased to announce a brand new art event in the Capital; THE PALACE ART FAIR to be held at Fulham Palace, London from 7th - 10th October, 2010.
The Palace Art Fair will build on what people like most about the successful Brighton Art Fair, in terms of quality, size and friendliness but transferred to a new venue to attract a new audience.

Culture Flash is a funded art project, based in Portsmouth, which aims to bring young people together through the fusion of culture and creativity. Starting from early February Culture Flash will be handing out 100 disposable cameras to 100 young people, and then exhibiting the results.

Call for submission: Biennale Illumini Event 2010 Presents
‘Secret subterranean London’ © 2010
Have you ever wondered what secret tunnels and buildings are hidden under the citiy streets? Illumini Event 2010 will be held in an underground rustic location in East London, and promises to be an exciting and historical look into the history of the secret underground city. The project will create World War Two bunkers, a disused station, crypts, historical water ways and many more, long forgotten hidden secrets of London. During the event there will be workshops and talks about secrets that are hidden in London’s underground.

Arcade is an artist-led initiative which aims to encourage the bringing together of artists and creative practitioners working in broad ranging art forms, and to organise openly accessible events in public ‘non-gallery’ spaces.
Projects to date have been organised specific to a Victorian built walkway Lowther Arcade in Carlisle city centre, Cumbria where the area is turned into an arts ‘hotspot’ using: the main walkway and architecture, several empty shop units or windows, plus adjoining businesses throughout.

The smallest independent, contemporary gallery in the country is calling for submissions for an open exhibition.
Painting, drawing, artist prints, installation or 3D work are all welcome for the show, which takes place as part of the Revolutionary Arts Group's 10th birthday year. Work must be ready to hang. The gallery has three floors, each approximately 330mm x 360mm, with a wall height of 230mm.

Brighton's Fabrica is seeking maternity cover for the post of Artist Resource Manager.
Fabrica is a visual arts organisation based in a former Regency church in the heart of Brighton that commissions contemporary visual art installations specific to the building. It encourages an open dialogue between artists and visitors within the gallery space and produces an integrated programme of education and audience development activity that strives to remove barriers to access, engagement and understanding.
