Pop art re-examined at Tate Modern

I went along to this show with my family and had to avoid three of the rooms which were X rated. I enjoyed Keith Haring's Pop Shop very much and insist that someone sets up something similar in Worthing at their own expense very soon.

<b> The room that I simply could not stay in was that exhibiting the work of Jeff Koons. As soon as I walked in I was confronted by a six foot high photograph of his erect penis penetrating the gaping orifice of his then porn-star wife, all glistening with vaginal mucus. I have often feared for people who find the sight of vaginal mucus a sexual turn-on. Personally the very thought of vaginal mucus makes me feel quite nauseated  and I am anticipating there will be complaints about me even mentioning vaginal mucus on this website as it is open to younger people and those of a sensitive disposition. However, vaginal mucus there was in spadefuls and I have to ask myself why it is so much effort was taken in the portrayal of vaginal mucus, why I had to pay £47.00 to take my family to see vaginal mucus and what the great artists of the past like Turner, Giotto and Titian would have thought about one of the greatest galleries in the world portraying vaginal mucus.

<b> Personally I liked the wall with all the film stars dressed as Nazis. That was far more thought-provoking. It said a lot about how close we sail to a fascination with real evil – quite profound when we consider the efforts of Nick Griffin's BNP recently, and a lot more digestible than vaginal mucus.
