Art Liberating Lives - a Sue Ryder Care Competition

Pick up your paintbrush, grab your camera or use your artistic talents to create a piece of art that could be exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries, London.

Artists of all forms are invited to enter Art Liberating Lives, a competition that culminates in an exclusive exhibition that celebrates the power of art as a form of therapy, expression and liberation.

Artworks must be created to the theme of “liberation”. Selected pieces will be shown at the Art Liberating Lives exhibition at London’s prestigious Mall Galleries in December.

Submission costs £12.50 per entry and you can submit your artwork(s) from now until 21 October 2009.

There will be regional collection points for selected artworks – details of which will be available from July. Artists’ awards and prizes will also be available and for this year only sales commission is lowered to 35% (+VAT).

The exhibition will support people and their families living with Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.
