Artists and Empty Shops Network

Are you an artist or an arts organisation using empty shops?

The Revolutionary Arts Group are keen to hear from artists, organisations and other creative practitioners using empty shops and commercial premises. Shops are being used as galleries, to run workshops, for showing short films and artwork is being used to decorate empty windows. If you're doing any of these - or something different - get in touch.

The south coast artist-led organisation has been using empty shops as exhibition spaces since 2001, and would like to compile a national mailing list to share ideas, experience and opinion at a time when even more shops are becoming available.

If you've been involved in using empty shops, know somebody else who is- or are planning something similar right now - contact Dan Thompson at the Revolutionary Arts Group.

Who can one contact to become part of or exhibit with someone in an empty shop. I'm in Cornwall on a farm near Camelford and need to place/exhibit my art somewhere...

Thanks
