    August 2007

    "Our Day Out"

    When: Thursday, August 09 2007 @ 07:45 PM BST - Saturday, August 11 2007 @ 07:45 PM BST
    Event Type:
Where: Young Wick Theatre Company, Barn Theatre, Southwick Community Centre
    Southwick Street
    Southwick BN42
Description: The award-winning Young Wick Theatre Companys fourth full-length production is a play by Willy Russell. Its a school outing like youve never seen before, when kids from an inner-city comprehensive in 70s Liverpool go on a trip to Conwy Castle. The teacher of these children with special needs is determined theyll have a good time come what may, but the Deputy Headmaster, sent along at the last moment, has other ideas, causing tension between the two. Nothing turns out as planned, and situations swing from hugely funny to touching in the blink of an eye.

TICKETS: 7.50/8.00 from the Box Office on 01273 597094.
The Barn Theatre has a loop for the hard-of-hearing and facilities for the disabled including wheel-chair access.

    Revolutionary!
