Out with the old, in with the new - comedy club open mic is New Material Night

Matt's Comedy Club returns with a New Material Open Mic Night on Thursday 6 August � it's a chance to see the cream of the local comedy circuit try out some new stuff. And there's always the possibility of one or two special guests popping in ...

"We've got into the habit of having an open mic night in the summer," explains MC and co-founder Russ Bravo, "so we decided to put the emphasis on new material for this one, giving acts the chance to try out new content on a live audience. Anything could happen!"

Matt's open mic nights pull in a mix of tried and tested regulars from along the south coast, to new acts getting early chances to entertain a live audience � so a fun night is guaranteed and you might see potential stars in the making.
