This year's Artists + Makers Festival guide has a striking front cover image - and a lot of people are asking 'where is that building'?
Well, it's the Art Deco treminal building at Shoreham Airport, captured in a screenprint by Fred Pipes. The Brighton-based artist and illustrator completed the work at Brighton Independent Printmakers (commonly known as BIP).
Fred will be exhibiting the print as part of the Festival's popular open houses, studios & gardens event which take place on 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th July from 2-6pm. 'Shoreham Airport', other prints and some watercolours by Fred Pipes will be on show at Thompson Towers, 35 Lanfranc Road, Worthing BN14 7ES.
Thompson Towers is one of thirty open houses, taking place in Bolney, Cowfold, Cuckfield, Horsham, Plummers Plan, Pulborough, Rusper, Southwater, Slinfold, Warnham and Worthing.
