"Decided to try and think of mine, and really can't work out how people do it. Limiting yourself to just ten tracks, for goodness' sake? How on earth do you discard the many excellent songs that have ripped your heart out, caressed it gently, or just made it giggle throughout the years? But I have picked a Top Ten, that, for the moment at least, never fail to lift my spirits. It may well be completely different next month, but there you go.
The one thing that surprises me is that there are no tracks from the band I consider the consistently best band ever, no question; U2. But I couldn't pick any one of their songs above the others. Just couldn't be done."
