Carved from a derelict shop, Workshop 1A is a public space available at a low cost for anything people want to do with it; recent events have included meetings, workshops, theatre rehearsals and exhibitions. It's also home to a changing group of artists who use it as a flexible, informal studio space. There's also a growing resource available, with useful kit like folding tables, chairs, pop-up photo studio equipment, A-boards,easels,  flipcharts and more.
