So many highlights.

Too many to mention but it was so cool to see Debbie Bonham on the same stage her brother graced back in the 70s. She is SO under-rated. (We'll get to work on that).

Midge Ure was cool. But the highlights were Slim Chance and (Kenney) Jones Gang. Paul Weller, Sam Brown, Chris Jagger etc but what a presence Pete Townshend and Ronnie Wood had. Amazing. I had goosebumps when both took the stage. To hear Woody grind out those famous chords to the Faces Stay With Me was awesome.

All Small Faces, Faces and Slim Chance classics. Itchycoo Park was brilliant but, to hear After Glow and Tin Soldier was something else topped off with All or Nothing. I was so glad to be there.

And it looks like (clearances from PeteT and Ronnie W permitting) that the DVD will come out on Track Records in the UK.

Full marks to John Hellier for putting it together and Peter Bullick (Debbie's husband) for following through, against all odds, the filming of.

Oh, and even Stanley Unwin's son made an appearance.

A truly wonderful night.

Thanks to Ian Grant at Track Record for this write up of the Ronnie Lane tribute which took place at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2004.
