Acaster return heads for comedy sell-out

Rising comedy star James Acaster returns to Worthing on 20 February for a Matt's Comedy Club gig set to sell out in the Connaught Studio.

The gangly stand-up comedian last gigged locally in 2013, and his star has very much been in the ascendant since then, with a plethora of TV appearances, his own acclaimed BBC Radio 4 show, great reviews from his Edinburgh shows and more.

Tickets for the show, which Matt's are jointly promoting with local gig promoters Atom, have been in great demand, and the final few are expected to sell in the next week or so.

Support for James on the night comes from surreal songsmith Jay Foreman, who went viral on YouTube last year following his extraordinary song which managed to mention every station on the London Underground. There will also be some top local standups, and the evening will be compered by resident Matt's MC Russ Bravo.

Tickets for the gig on Friday 20 February at the Connaught Studio (8pm) are just 9 (7 concessions) from Worthing Theatres on 01903 206206 or www.worthingtheatres.co.uk
