Comedy club headliner set to stand and deliver
Manchester-based but Stoke-born funny man Andy Kind returns to Matt's Comedy Club for his third Worthing gig, and an eager audience looking forward to his winning mix of daft stories, lively banter and charm all wrapped up in a clean comedy outlook.
Kind tops the bill at The Dome Function Suite, Marine Parade, Worthing on Thursday 23 June (8pm).
With six years gigging the length and breadth of the UK, as well as appearances on national TV and radio, Andy blends joyful exuberance with the playful ranting of a man on the wrong side of 30. Add to this a love of ad-libbing and a super-strong stage presence, and you have the prospect of a great night’s entertainment.
Andy is also a published author with his first book just published – Stand Up And Deliver (Monarch Books, £7.99) is a highly entertaining account of a young man's first year as a rookie comedian.
In support comes London-based Welshman Rob Thomas, ready to unleash his winning brand of observation, one-liners and gaggery on a seaside audience unsullied by the smog of the metropolis.
Kicking things off as ever will be Matt's MC Russ Bravo, with the help of some silly songs, strange poems and odder jokes.
Tickets are £8 (£6 concessions) from the usual outlets:
