Making waves in Lewes
Preparations are being made for the annual Artwave open house festival.
Taking place across the Lewes district from Saturday 28th August until Sunday 12th September, Artwave showcases art at more than eighty venues.
Artwave participants - some of whom are new to Artwave and will be exhibiting for the first time - will welcome visitors into their homes and studios, from Falmer to Firle and from Newhaven to Newick, to showcase their work.
Artwave is co-ordinated by Lewes District Council and is a not-for-profit visual arts festival promoting the wealth of creativity attainable within the district.
Brochures will be available from Lewes and Seaford tourist information centres from the end of July. For further information on the festival, please check out www.artwavefestival.org
