Opportunity for Sussex Artists

Call for Proposals: Sussex Coast College Art Prize Deadline: 7 May 2010 The Circle Gallery at Sussex Coast College, Hastings invites artists proposals for an exhibition of new work for a 4 week exhibition in the Circle Gallery from October - November 2010. Open to: all artists resident in Sussex aged 16 and over Entry: £10 per artist, FREE for artists in full time education Prize-money: £3000 to fund a solo exhibition

The Sussex Coast College Art Prize is open to artists working in all media including 2 and 3 dimensional work, video and installation. the artists' proposals should be a response to the Circle Gallery.

Application includes submission of current CV, up to 6 images of previous work or new artwork and a detailed proposal (300 words max.) A short list of between 5 and 10 artists will be selected by a panel to display their proposals and supporting artwork in the Circle Gallery in July 2010, during which time the winning artist will be announced.
