artrepublic Street Art Competition Reveal

On Tues 19th Jan, established street artists Inkie, Pure Evil, Ben Eine & Static will travel to artrepublic Brighton and judge the entries for the artrepublic Street Art Competition – which benefits Street Smart (the UK charity which supports the homeless) Local charity Off the Fence benefits from this and actively encouraged homeless people to participate.

These prolific street artists have given up their time to pick the winner from over 250 entries. The top three will be notified prior to the presentation which will take place in The Ivy Club on Thursday 28thJanuary 2010 and the winner revealed.

The winning image which highlights the UK homeless problem will be will be sold as a limited edition print through the artrepublic galleries in London and Brighton and online, with all proceeds going to StreetSmart.

In addition the image will be turned in to a gigantic paste up, the size of a two-storey building in London and Brighton (locations to be announced) Lawrence Alkin, CEO artrepublic will donate £1 from every single transaction taken during the months of January, February & March 2010.
