Fabrica's Artist Resource manager
Brighton's Fabrica is seeking maternity cover for the post of Artist Resource Manager.
Fabrica is a visual arts organisation based in a former Regency church in the heart of Brighton that commissions contemporary visual art installations specific to the building. It encourages an open dialogue between artists and visitors within the gallery space and produces an integrated programme of education and audience development activity that strives to remove barriers to access, engagement and understanding.
The salary is £15,000 per annum pro rata (18 hours per week). Working within a small staff team the Artist Resource Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Artist Resource as well as developing and co-ordinating a programme of events and talks for artists.
At least a year’s experience of working in an administrative based or self-employed situation, within the arts is preferred.
