Hastings Auction Raises Funds For Free Gaza
Justice Not Vengeance and Hastings Against War are holding an art auction to raise money for the Medical Aid for Palestinians' Gaza appeal, and for the Free Gaza campaign to lift the Israeli siege on Gaza.
Free Gaza has organized five boat trips to Gaza carrying humanitarian supplies, breaking the illegal Israeli blockade, and taking international visitors to witness the effects of the siege on ordinary life in Gaza.
As well as auctioning artwork contributed by local artists and bottles of Palestinian olive oil, organisers are planning a live phone conversation with an international activist currently in Gaza.
The event takes place from 7pm, on Tuesday 3 February at Hastings Arts Forum, 36 Marina, St Leonards on Sea TN38 0BU
