Colin Selley Opens Topsham Gallery
Expressionist painter Colin Selley has opened a new art gallery in Worthing's Royal Arcade.
The small Topsham Gallery will exhibit work by the painter, who trained at Croydon College of Art & Design and London College of Printing, before showing work in the Royal Academy Summer Show, and - in 1983 - the Summertime exhibition at Tate Britain.
Selley, who has work in collections in America, Israel, France and Spain, has exhibited widely in the UK. He has been a regular exhibitor at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, and exhibited at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.
The Topsham Gallery is open daily in the Royal Arcade, off Montague Street and South Street, Worthing; and Selley can often been found painting in the space, too. Alongside colourful expressionist landscapes, Selley has developed a distinct portrait style.
