Arundel Festival And All That Jazz
On the 29th August 2007, Heather Cairncross will appear at the Arundel Festival in an exciting new jazz programme taking the timeless songs of George Gershwin on a tour of South America.

The concert will feature breathtaking new arrangements specially written for the Arundel Festival by her pianist Joss Peach and bass player Steve Thompson. They have enriched favourite Gershwin melodies with exciting Latin colours and rhythms. Completing the line up are Ben Reynolds on Drums and Joe Auckland on Trumpet.

In her diverse career, Heather has sung throughout the world with artists ranging from Pierre Boulez and Steve Reich to Stefan Grappelli and Tony Bennett. She has appeared at La Scala, Milan and Carnegie Hall via the Village Gate Jazz Club, NY and Ronnie Scotts.

Her Arundel Festival appearance is on 29th August from 7.30pm at the Priory Church of St Nicholas. To book, email to [email protected] or call on 01903 884988
