Local author Suzannah Dunn will be signing copies of her latest book from 2pm on Saturday, 20th January.  Suzannah is the acclaimed author of 'Commencing Our Descent', 'Tenterhooks' and 'Past Caring'.  Her fiction is immensely popular with reading groups as her storytelling revels in the conflicts of heart and mind of each character.  Her latest book is set in the years after Henry VIII's death and focuses on the life of Catherine Parr, Henry's last wife. Far from being written in a dry historical style, Catherine's downfall is relived in a very contemporary, gossipy style told from the point-of-view of her best friend, Catherine, Duchess of Suffolk.  No tickets required, just turn up on the day!

Jeremy Thomas may live in London and Greece but he writes in Worthing. Jeremy has not only written about his experiences of depression in 'You Don't Have to Be Famous to Have Manic Depression' but has written a new novel called, 'Taking Leave'.  Jeremy will be talking about, reading from and signing his novel on the evening of Friday, 26th January from 7pm.  There will be complimentary drinks included in the ticket price of 2 which can be redeemed against a purchase on the night.  Please book early to avoid disappointment as Jeremy is a great raconteur!

Methven's third event is a play written by the Nobel Prize winner Harold Pinter.  The play is called 'Ashes to Ashes' and is one of Pinter's finest and most memorable. ThinkTank Theatre will not only perform the play on the evenings of Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd February but  the director, Katherine Mustafa, will afterwards answer questions from the audience raised by the challenging style and content of Pinter's play.
