Brighton Craft Fair is a new event organised in tandem with the successful Brighton Art Fair, now in its third year. "Like RAG, we do not believe that there should be such a gulf between Art and Craft," says organiser Jon Tutton, "and want to promote the best in contemporary craft from makers and designers across the country."
Organisers will be using the established Brighton Art Fair image and branding for both shows (although each show will have an individual look) and will be promoting the Brighton Craft Fair to our Brighton Art Fair buyers and visitors as well as seeking out craft buyers.
Brighton Art Fair has a strongly growing reputation amongst the public and arts professionals as a very high quality, unique and enjoyable event. By promoting the two events together organisers will attract contemporary art collectors to buy the best in British Craft and design as well as targeting existing craft buyers.
The inaugural Brighton Craft Fair will take place on Thursday 23rd � Sunday 26th November 2006.
Brighton Craft Fair is an opportunity for the public to buy from the best of national makers and for makers to sell direct to the public, to make contacts, and to talk to potential customers. Brighton Craft Fair charges no commission on sales.
