Artistic Director for West Sussex Youth Dance Company
West Sussex County Council (WSCC) in partnership with the districts and borough council's wishes to appoint a Freelance Artistic Director for the County Youth Dance Company.
Interested applicants must have experience in delivering:
- Workshops in a youth setting.
- Performance skills and directing workshops with a strong contemporary technique.
- Plus one other dance style
- The ability to work independently.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading weekly class and rehearsals of the company, (aged 14 - 21 years) and will choreograph the company's work, liase with guest choreographers and assist in the management of performances. The fee is £80.00 per week plus travel expenses. Class is held termly on Thursday evenings in Billingshurst.
The closing date for applications is 1pm, on Friday 3rd February.
Interviews to take place on Monday 13th February.
