Christmas Craft Fair
Missed Artists & Makers at St Matthew’s, where over 200 gifts, cards and artworks were sold in ten hours last weekend? Well this Saturday, every spare corner, nook and cranny at Worthing Museum & Art Gallery in Chapel Road will be filled with affordable Christmas gifts made by artists, makers and designers.
From Carole Tucker’s beadwork to Nicola Jackson’s handmade recycled paper, and Brenda Brooks’ beach paintings to the Detached Chain Band’s embroidery and textiles … there’s something for every taste and every budget.
Sue Wood – who is also showing her ceramics in Brighton’s open houses – will have a stand. The mysterious ‘We Are Mountain’ will be there. And stalls will be spread throughout the museum’s galleries.
RAG will be well represented in the upstairs Art Gallery. Alexandra Dipple’s hand-finished frames and mirrors (as seen in Brighton’s Original Interiors) were a smash hit at last weekend’s Artists & Makers event. And RAG founder Dan Thompson will be on hand, with cards, Christmas stockings, prints and other original arts and crafts by half a dozen of the South’s finest artists & makers.
Worthing Museum & Art Gallery’s Christmas Craft fair is open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday 10th December. Admission is free.
