New on The Hyperliterature Exchange for March 2005 - Edward Picot reviews "Sampler", a DVD+ from Alan Sondheim, which contains close to five gigabytes of text, images and video. Sondheim is one of the best-known and longest-established new media artists.

Since 1994 he has been developing a huge project which he calls the "Internet Text", an "extended meditation on cyberspace"; and the "Sampler" DVD+ provides a representative cross-section of this work.
