Hunter S Thompson Dead

Legendary journalist and writer Hunter S Thompson has been found dead, apparently having shot himself at his Colorado home.

Best known for 'Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas', Thompson pioneered the style of 'Gonzo Journalism', where the journalist becomes a character in his own story.

He was friends with the artist Ralph Steadman, who was his collaborator on 'Fear and Loathing'.
