Roundabout Loves You!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in style and comfort with the third annual ‘We Love You’ festival.

Past ‘We Love You’ festivals have seen a diverse range of arts activities happening. The first festival, in 2003, saw RAG founders Dan and Tracey Thompson stage a ‘bed in’ at boutique guesthouse The Acacia. Meanwhile, the town’s roundabouts were hung with banners telling passing motorists ‘We Love You’.

And last year, Worthing Arts Council joined the celebrations, with members including Rainbow Theatre, Fairground Booth Theatre Company, West Sussex Writers’ Club and The Textile Arts Forum staging three days of events, culminating in a poetry competition which received over 150 entries.

This year’s ‘We Love You’ will see popular arts and music club Roundabout return to St Matthew’s, Tarring Road, Worthing.

The musical line-up will see everything from contemporary singer-songwriters and acoustic rock to a chaotic calypso band. There will also be a packed poetry bill.

Alongside the live entertainment, RAG artists will be stocking the Artists & Makers Boutique with cards, prints, contemporary crafts and paintings - making the event the ideal place to pick up a unique Valentine’s gift.

And a fair trade café, with organic homemade cake, will operate all evening.

Roundabout takes place at St Matthew’s Tarring Road, Worthing on Saturday 12th February, and doors open at 7pm. Admission is £5 on the door, with concessions £2.50.
